This tutorial provides step-by-step instructions on how to rotate a Sendbird API Key.
Regenerate the Sendbird API Key
Step 1 - Navigate to the API Key page
Navigate to the url https://dashboard.sendbird.com/settings/apikey
Step 2 - Generate a new API Key
2a. Click Regenerate
Regenerate a new Sendbird API key by clicking the Regenerate button.
2b. Confirm
Click the Regenerate button to confirm the operation.
Note: This will immediately revoke the existing key.
Replace the Leaked Sendbird API Key
Replace the leaked Sendbird API Key with the new one in all impacted applications and services.
